The Collie ( Rough ) originated in Scotland during the early 1800s. They possessed many traits making them excellent herding dogs, because of this, they were bred with care to ensure the right genes were passed down through the generations.
Algetislekvi kennels continue the tradition, breeding with extensive care so that favourable traits stay in our bloodlines and that our pups are in complete physical health.
They are absolutely beautiful. We love their fun personalities, their loyalty to us and one another, their free-spirited interaction with nature and simply their joy of being. Looking after them is a pleasure, we love taking them out on walks and letting them off in the park or the local beach, but of course it is also a lot of work. Taking up a dog even as a pet comes with a lot of responsibility, so owner and family need to be prepared to include an active member in their busy lives.
UPDATE: Recently we have undergone a major sea change and we are now located in Tbilisi Georgia!
